Muscat: The Oman Meteorology has reported that clouds are currently moving over the coastal regions of the Oman Sea, with a possibility of scattered rainfall.
According to the weather forecast from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Sultanate of Oman is expected to have clear skies across all governorates, although cloud formation is anticipated specifically over the Oman Sea, where scattered rain showers may occur.
Residents in the coastal areas of the Oman Sea should be cautious of dust and sand being lifted by the wind, which could lead to decreased horizontal visibility in the near future.
Additionally, the CAA has noted the likelihood of low clouds or fog patches developing during the late night and early morning hours in certain areas of South Al Sharqiyah governorate. This may further impair visibility, posing challenges for drivers.
