Salalah: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), convened a cordial meeting on Thursday at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah.
During this meeting, the two leaders examined several topics of shared interest and deliberated on ways to enhance cooperation and partnership to foster the economic growth of both nations, aligning with the aspirations of their peoples. They also investigated methods to promote peace and stability in the region, aiming to fulfill the hopes of the populace for a secure and dignified existence.
Representing Oman, the meeting included the attendance of HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, and Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the UAE.
On the Emirati side, the event was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as the UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Also present were Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Families Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, an Advisor to the President of the UAE; Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Ahmed Al Mazrouei, the Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, an Advisor to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, the Minister of Investment; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, the Ambassador of the UAE to Oman.
