Sayyid Theyazin Presides Over Conclusion Of Workshops On Developing Cultural, Innovative Industries

The workshops on developing cultural and innovative industries have successfully concluded today at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Under the patronage of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, the closing ceremony marked the end of these productive sessions.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in collaboration with the National Programme for Investment and Export Development (Nazdaher), these workshops have yielded remarkable results. Three projects with a total investment value of OMR15.4 million have been generated, along with eight investment opportunities amounting to OMR19 million and twenty empowerment initiatives.

Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Second Developmental Programme on Investment in Innovative and Cultural Industries, highlighted the key objectives of the workshops. They aimed to foster a culture of innovative action, establish enablers, and address the challenges faced in Oman's cultural and innovative sectors.

The workshops brought together specialists in cultural and innovative fields from both Oman and abroad, as well as representatives of innovative projects, academics, researchers, and experts. Their collective expertise and insights have contributed to the success of these sessions.

During the closing ceremony, the participants had the opportunity to witness a visual presentation showcasing the achievements and potential of cultural and innovative industries. Additionally, they were able to explore a roadshow that showcased the outcomes of the workshops.

Overall, these workshops have played a significant role in promoting and advancing Oman's cultural and innovative industries, paving the way for future growth and development in these sectors.
