Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, led a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) on Wednesday. The event was held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
HH Sayyid Theyazin was provided with an overview of OCCI's history and significant accomplishments spanning five decades during the ceremony. The briefing was enhanced by the inclusion of visual aids such as illustrations, paintings, and video clips.
Subsequently, HH Sayyid Theyazin officially unveiled the new OCCI identity, marking the commencement of a transformative phase focused on achieving further milestones and fulfilling future aspirations. The primary objective of this endeavor is to align OCCI's goals with the vision outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
During the ceremony, HH Sayyid Theyazin had a discussion with the members of OCCI Board of Directors and expressed his appreciation for the chamber's contribution in representing the private sector and promoting overall development in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The OCCI members expressed their gratitude to HH Sayyid Theyazin for attending the event and highly regarded his genuine words of praise and support.
