MUSCAT: SalamAir announced on Monday night the temporary suspension of flights to and from Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Qatar due to the current situation in the region and the consequent closure of airspace.
According to an official SalamAir statement, flights to and from Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Qatar have been briefly suspended as a safety precaution in light of recent regional instability.
The airline also stated that other planned SalamAir flights might be delayed owing to wider disturbances impacting regional airspace. Passengers are encouraged to check www. SalamAir. com for their flight status before traveling to the airport.
SalamAir has assured passengers that all impacted travelers would be notified of alternative travel arrangements.
