The Royal Academy of Management's Board of Trustees convened for their third meeting, led by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Board. This meeting holds great significance as it sets the academy's strategic direction for the upcoming year.
Sayyid Khalid extended a warm welcome to the board members and praised the academy for commemorating the first anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's Royal visit. He also highlighted the launch of a special postage stamp to mark this occasion.
During the meeting, Sayyid Khalid emphasized that the planned strategic activities for 2024 align with His Majesty the Sultan's vision for Oman. These initiatives aim to foster leadership across various sectors, contributing to Oman's progress as a developed nation.
"The academy's focus is in line with His Majesty's directives to cultivate a community of leaders through structured programs and dialogues," stated Sayyid Khalid.
The 2024 plan encompasses a novel program called the 'Future Leaders' initiative, which highlights the academy's comprehensive approach to embracing leadership communities and cultivating human capital across diverse fields. These endeavors aim to equip Oman for forthcoming challenges and opportunities by fostering a deeper comprehension of emerging trends and advancements.
Furthermore, the meeting extensively discussed the particulars of the 'Future of Government Work' program, specifically targeting directors in the GCC government sector. This program equips them with indispensable skills and knowledge to effectively translate visions and strategies into tangible outcomes.
"The academy is well-positioned for the future through our 'Future Readiness Initiatives,' which seek to empower leaders with a profound understanding of the trends that will shape the future landscape of nations," he further added.
