Military teams from various units are tirelessly working to restore normalcy in the lives of people following the impact of adverse weather conditions in the Sultanate of Oman.
As part of a well-coordinated national response, the Royal Army of Oman's units are actively engaged in restoration and rehabilitation efforts in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
Represented by the Desert Battalion, the Royal Army of Oman has delivered drinking water to the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, reopened key roads affected by the weather, and are currently involved in mud and dirt removal operations in various areas.
The Ministry of Defence's engineering services, in collaboration with other government bodies, are stepping up their efforts to mitigate the impact of the weather conditions, providing technical support to ensure safe passage on damaged roads in the North Al Batinah Governorate.
Furthermore, the engineering services teams are working on restoring essential infrastructure by utilizing water suction pumps, transport tanks, and draining water bodies in villages across the wilayats of Al Khaboura and Saham.
In addition, the engineering services team successfully reopened the Madha-Buraimi road and cleared mud accumulations in the Al-Buraimi Governorate, addressing the aftermath of the recent weather conditions effectively.
Moreover, the units have played a crucial role in supplying electrical power generators to areas affected by power outages in the Wilayat of Mahout in the Governorate.
