Read This If You’re Planning To Visit Indonesia

Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta has issued a formal notification to Omani nationals planning to travel to Indonesia.

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta wishes to extend a formal acknowledgment to Omani citizens who are planning to visit the Republic of Indonesia. Please be advised of the following conditions:

1. It is imperative that the passport is valid for a duration exceeding six months for entry into Indonesia.

2. Omani citizens are eligible to acquire a tourist visa upon arrival at the airport, with a fee of 500,000 Indonesian rupiah, equivalent to approximately 35 US dollars, valid for a duration of 30 days. This visa may be extended for an additional 30 days, subject to the payment of additional fees.

3. Should the intention be to extend your stay in Indonesia beyond the initial 30-day period, it is necessary to renew the visa and ensure that the associated fees are paid prior to the expiration of the current period.

4. Omani citizens may also apply for a visa through the embassy's official website.
