Muscat: Several governorates within the Sultanate of Oman are anticipated to experience thunderstorms of varying intensities on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
The Oman Meteorology Department has issued a warning regarding thunderstorms of varying intensities, expected to range from 20 to 35 millimeters, across the mountainous regions of several Governorates, including Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah, and Al Dhahirah.
These thunderstorms are accompanied by vigorous winds, ranging from 15 to 45 knots, which are likely to cause valleys to flow and hail to descend, resulting in diminished visibility in the horizontal direction.
