Phase One Of Al Yasmeen Park Project In Al Suwaiq Completed

Al Suwaiq: The first phase of the Al Yasmeen Park project in the Al Bidiyah region, the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq, has been completed by the Municipality of North Al Batinah at a cost of OMR212,460. The project, which covers a total area of 19,000 square metres, was carried out over 347 days.

The first stage included the installation of irrigation systems, the creation of a 30,000-liter underground water tank, and the development of a complete electrical network supported by modern lighting poles. In addition, 644 meters of pedestrian trails were built, and 6,182 square meters of flooring were surfaced. A dedicated children's play area spanning 1,525 square metres was created, and seats and service facilities were built to improve the efficiency of the public space.

The project's second phase will focus on landscaping, such as tree planting and green areas, as well as the placement of new playground equipment.

These efforts are geared at transforming the park into a contemporary amenity that serves all age groups while also contributing to the urban improvement of the surrounding region.

Al Yasmeen Park is one of the qualitative projects undertaken by the North Al Batinah Municipality across the governorate as part of its efforts to develop and improve public areas for the overall benefit of the community.
