Muscat: The second edition of the 'Pass by Duqm' campaign introduces exclusive discounts ranging from 30 to 40 percent on a variety of accommodations, including hotels and cafes, situated within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.
This region has experienced a significant increase in tourist arrivals during the Khareef period, leading to a surge in demand for dining establishments, lodging facilities, beaches, and other related services.
The promotional initiative, which aligns with the Khareef season, is designed to encourage travelers from and to the Governorate of Dhofar to explore Duqm, whether by air or land.
The primary objective of this campaign is to enhance domestic tourism and spotlight the tourist attractions within the Wilayat of Duqm, serving as a pit stop for travelers journeying between the northern and southern regions of Oman, as well as for those traversing the sea route and appreciating the region's rich natural beauty.
The 'Pass by Duqm' campaign presents a range of savings and promotional offers on various hotel facilities, cafes, and restaurants located within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm. Launched on July 18, it is scheduled to conclude by the end of September.
As part of the campaign's promotional efforts, a series of contests and prizes will be unveiled, including the Best Picture Competition, aimed at amateur photographers, to highlight the natural beauty, authentic heritage, culture, and lifestyle of Duqm.
The campaign seeks to engage visitors by disseminating information about its objectives, activities, and offerings through the distribution of promotional materials across various media platforms.
It is noteworthy that the 'Pass by Duqm' initiative is integrated into the management's endeavors within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, aimed at enhancing the dissemination of information regarding the zone and the array of tourism attractions Duqm presents to its visitors.
This year, three new hotel buildings have been inaugurated in Duqm, elevating the total number of hotel accommodations to 15, which includes four-star facilities.
Furthermore, the quantity of hotel rooms within the vicinity has increased to nearly 2,460.
