Muscat: The state's public revenues have seen a growth of approximately 3 percent by the end of January 2024, reaching around OMR 1.14 billion. This marks an increase compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
As for public spending, it reached about OMR 929 million by the end of January, reflecting a rise of 92 million or 11 percent compared to the actual expenditure during the same period in 2023. Furthermore, the state's general budget concluded last January with a surplus of approximately OMR 85 million.
