The Oman Switzerland Friendship Association (OSFA) convened its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at The Zubair Corporation as well as online.
During the meeting, the Association reviewed its activities over the past year, highlighting the successful Business Forum held in Lucerne, Switzerland. Additionally, the audited financial statements for the year ending 2023 were approved.
This year marked an election period for the upcoming three-year term. Six out of the seven Board Members were re-elected, including Hani Al Zubair, Luca Decarli, Mohammed Abdullah Al Kharusi, Dr. Anka Kaestner, Said bin Saif Al Maskery, and Lateef Shahdad.
The newly elected Board Member, Ziyana Saud Al Mudhaffer, replaced Khalid Said Al Wahaibi, who chose not to continue for this term.
The newly formed Board will soon convene to outline the plans for 2024. Hani Al Zubair, the Association Chairman, expressed gratitude to the Membership for their unwavering support. He also extended thanks to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their continuous guidance and backing since the establishment of the Association.
