The Ministry of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman took part in the Fourth Qatar Economic Forum with the theme "A World Remade: Navigating the Year of Uncertainty" from 14 to 16 May 2024 in Doha.
Heading the delegation from Oman was Sultan Salim Al Habsi, the Minister of Finance.
The forum saw participation from leaders, experts, decision-makers, and economists from over 50 countries. It was inaugurated under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
Various economic issues were discussed during the event, focusing on cooperation, knowledge exchange, and experiences sharing.
The forum covered a wide range of topics, including geopolitical and trade impacts, changes in investment patterns, supply chain adjustments, as well as the expectations of business and investment leaders regarding global economic growth. Additionally, discussions were held on the shift towards clean energy and the future of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
