Muscat: Today, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India convened their 9th strategic dialogue meeting in Muscat.
Leading the Omani delegation was Major General Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi, Secretary General of the National Security Council, while the Indian delegation was headed by Shri Vikram Misri, Deputy National Security Advisor.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the strong and enduring relationship between the two countries across various sectors. They also expressed their mutual commitment to further enhancing these ties, which were reinforced by the visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Republic of India in December 2023.
The discussions encompassed a wide range of strategic issues and areas of shared interest. Additionally, updates on joint ventures and future projects were deliberated upon, with a focus on advancing the common goals and interests of both friendly nations.
