Oman, Icrc Review Areas Of Cooperation

MUSCAT: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, the Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, held a meeting on Tuesday with Mamadou Sow, the Head of the regional mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the GCC countries in Muscat.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the ICRC. They also addressed matters concerning the assistance provided to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, particularly in light of the Israeli war that has been waged on the strip.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Humaid bin Ali al Maani, the Head of the International Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, Abdullah Mohammed Said, the Head of the ICRC mission in Oman, and Dr Abdullah bin Hamad al Badi, the Adviser for Humanitarian Affairs at the ICRC mission.
