Oman Air, Salamair Announce Extended Codeshare Partnership

Muscat: Oman Air and SalamAir leadership recently convened to commemorate the launch of their latest codeshare partnership. This collaboration will provide passengers with an expanded range of travel options within Oman and beyond. The meeting also focused on the future prospects of both airlines as national carriers and their shared commitment to supporting Oman's tourism goals as part of the 2040 Vision.

Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, expressed his enthusiasm for the enhanced codeshare partnership, stating, "We are excited about this expanded collaboration between Oman Air and SalamAir. This development allows us to offer our customers even more choices and schedule options, while also contributing to the broader tourism ambitions of our country."

Adrian Hamilton-Manns, Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, echoed this sentiment, saying, "We are thrilled to further strengthen our partnership with Oman Air. This extended codeshare agreement reflects our joint commitment to providing passengers with exceptional travel options and superior service. We look forward to aligning ourselves with the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology's vision for Oman 2040, as we strive to excel in the aviation sector and promote Oman as a premier travel destination."

The first phase of the partnership will commence on 4 July 2024, allowing passengers to book their travel on select SalamAir routes that connect to Oman Air's network. Additional destinations will be added following the successful implementation of this initial phase.
