Oman Air Issues Notice On Passenger Boarding System

Muscat: In a recent announcement, Oman Airports has implemented modifications to its passenger boarding system (PBS) at Muscat International Airport, with the changes set to take effect on August 4th.

Passengers are now required to report to the electronic boarding gates at Muscat International Airport at least 40 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. Following this, access to the boarding gates will be limited.

The procedures for check-in have been maintained and will conclude 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.

Oman Air has underscored the significance of punctuality at the boarding gates to guarantee a seamless travel experience.

In a formal statement, Oman Air has communicated, "Dear esteemed guests, in light of the recent enhancements to the Passenger Boarding System (PBS) at Muscat International Airport, commencing August 4th, we kindly request that guests report to the electronic boarding gates at least 40 minutes prior to their flight departure time. It is important to note that access to the boarding gates will be restricted after this period. Our check-in procedures will remain consistent and will conclude 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. We extend our gratitude for your understanding and cooperation in this matter."
