Oman Air has successfully received the delivery of its latest Boeing B787-9 aircraft, marking the commencement of a series of three deliveries scheduled for this year. This aircraft is the inaugural addition to an existing order that encompasses eight more aircraft, with deliveries set to conclude by 2027. The introduction of this aircraft represents the tenth Dreamliner in the airline's fleet, underscoring its commitment to maintaining a fleet that is both modern and common. Renowned for its innovative design and superior fuel efficiency, the B787-9 is distinguished by its expansive cabins and large windows, which provide guests with an unparalleled level of comfort during their journey.
The aircraft made its inaugural landing in Muscat on Friday afternoon, having originated from the Boeing facility in Seattle.

The aircraft boasts a two-class configuration, featuring 30 Business Class seats and 258 Economy Class seats, which will be utilized across the airline's extensive network of destinations. Oman Air's luxurious and spacious cabin design, coupled with its exceptional service and hospitality, has been recognized with numerous international accolades, including the recent Best Seat Comfort in the Middle East at the APEX 2024 Awards and Best Airline Staff in the Middle East at the Skytrax 2024 Awards.
