Oman Air Announces Resumption Of Double-daily Flights To London

Muscat: Oman Air is set to reinstate double-daily flights between Muscat and London starting October 26, driven by increasing demand and the robust operational success of this key route.

The additional service will operate four times a week—on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—offering Oman Air travelers greater flexibility and options to accommodate their travel needs. This enhancement will also improve seamless connectivity with numerous destinations served by our Oneworld partners, particularly in North America. By the summer of 2026, the airline plans to operate around 14 return flights weekly from Muscat.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, stated, "The launch of double-daily flights to London underscores our dedication to addressing strong passenger demand, particularly since London serves as a strategic hub within our international network and the UK is a key market for inbound tourism."

He noted that bolstering Oman Air's presence on this crucial route not only supports the airline's operations but also aligns with the Sultanate of Oman's initiatives to boost the tourism sector and maintain a commitment to sustainable growth, especially as it prepares to join the Oneworld alliance.

The CEO highlighted the company's eagerness to tap into market opportunities and deliver an exceptional travel experience for its passengers.

The updated schedule will feature two daily flights on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, ensuring passengers enjoy more seamless and convenient connections to destinations in the United States and other long-haul locations.

These flights will be operated using the latest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from the fleet, which boasts spacious cabins and three award-winning classes: Business Studio, Business Class, and Economy Class.
