Oman Air Addresses Concerns Over Muscat-Salalah Ticket Prices

Oman Air has provided clarification regarding ticket pricing for flights between Muscat and Salalah.

In light of recent discussions on social media concerning domestic ticket prices, the airline reaffirmed that it offers fixed fares for Omani citizens traveling in Economy Class on this route year-round.

The fixed pricing structure includes:

- Saving Tourism Category: OMR 61 for a round trip, allowing 7 kg of cabin baggage (no checked baggage included).
- Flexible Tourism Category: OMR 64 for a round trip, which includes 7 kg of cabin baggage and 20 kg of checked baggage.

Additionally, Oman Air presents a variety of travel options, such as Economy Class tickets with 30 kg of checked baggage priced at OMR 87, along with several Business Class offerings. The airline noted that there have been instances where Business Class prices were mistakenly shared as Economy Class prices, particularly when Economy Class seats are sold out.

As the largest airline operating flights to Dhofar Governorate, Oman Air runs five daily flights, increasing to around 12 during the Khareef season and other peak travel times. To secure seats at the fixed prices for Omani citizens, the airline recommends that passengers book in advance via the official Oman Air website (omanair.com) or mobile app, especially during busy travel periods.

Oman Air reiterated its dedication to delivering exceptional service to its passengers, aiming to enhance the overall travel experience and provide a variety of options for all travelers. The airline expressed appreciation for the ongoing support from its valued guests and encouraged them to use official channels for optimal service.
