Salalah: The Ayn Platform, an active branch of the Ministry of Information, has a strong presence at the 2025 Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) season festival now taking place in the Governorate of Dhofar.
Ayn platform is presenting visitors to media services that highlight Dhofar Governorate's tourist destinations, cultural, and humanitarian riches. Ayn Platform is enhancing community engagement in a variety of ways through its digital presence, including the "Child Interface," an Interactive Digital Competition, and live radio and television broadcasts.
The Child Interface presents a visual programme of environmental experiences and field expeditions in the Dhofar Governorate. It develops learning skills, promotes cultural involvement, and showcases entertainment content that corresponds with families' educational and creative goals.
The Child Interface also promotes electronic services for children, such as audiobooks and animated cartoons. It's programs, which run until August 3, emphasize entertainment and educational material to help young people broaden their horizons and intellectual abilities.
Ayn Platform's interactive digital competition includes a series of cultural and tourist questions intended to solidify Omani identity. It involves people with local history in an easy and pleasant manner.
The platform also broadcasts all radio and television programmes related to the Khareef season, with a separate area called Khareef Dhofar. This demonstrates the platform's critical contribution in showcasing the Sultanate of Oman's presence on regional and international stages.
To supplement the season's digital coverage, short video snippets were created. They showcase the grandeur of nature using aerial photography techniques (employing drones). In this case, visitors of various nationalities are interviewed in various languages to provide access for local and foreign viewers.
Ayn platform is one of the Ministry of Information's programs that reflect Oman Vision 2040. It is keeping up with the Sultanate of Oman's digital shift. It dedicates digital space to the Khareef Dhofar festival in eight languages, as well as translated subtitles for photos and articles about the governorate's activities and tourist sites.
