OHRC Meets Civil Society Organisations, General Federation Of Oman Workers

The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) organized a meeting with multiple civil society organizations, led by Prof. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Balushi, OHRC Chairperson, Her Highness Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, President of the Children First Association (CFA), and several heads of civil society associations in the Sultanate. Representatives from the General Federation of Oman Workers were also present. 

The meeting focused on enhancing humanitarian action mechanisms in Oman. Discussions included various topics related to women, children, individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and other marginalized groups in society. 

Held at the OHRC headquarters, the session brought together representatives from organizations such as the General Federation of Oman Workers, the Lawyers Association, the Journalists Association, the CFA, the Oman Sociological Association, the Omani Association for People with Disabilities, the Omani Association for children with disability, and the Omani Women Association in Muscat.
