Muscat: In a formal gathering, Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, the esteemed Minister of Education, engaged in a meeting with Mr. Jamal bin Hassan Al Mousawi, the distinguished Secretary-General of the National Museum, amidst the presence of Dr. Said Al Amri, the Head of the Minister’s Office, Dr. Ali Al Shukaili, the Director-General of the Directorate-General of Education in Muscat Governorate, Dr. Sheikha Al Shaabi, the Assistant Director-General for Educational Affairs, and Mr. Thuraya Al Habsi, the Headmaster of Jawharat Muscat Basic Education School in Seeb, at the General Diwan.
During the course of the meeting, the original letter penned by Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, the esteemed spouse of the Sultan of Oman, was presented to Mr. Jamal bin Hassan Al Mousawi. This letter, written during her visit to Jawharat Muscat Basic Education School on 5-6 October, was a testament to her appreciation and recognition of the educational and teaching endeavors, as well as her interactions with the teaching staff and students during the celebration of Omani Women’s Day.
In the letter, Her Highness commended the school for its significant contributions to the educational landscape, emphasizing the importance of skill development and the cultivation of values and good behavior among all members of society. She also underscored the critical need for enhancing the quality of education across the Sultanate of Oman, expressing her wishes for the school's continued success in aligning with the vision of His Majesty the Sultan.
The Director-General of the Directorate-General of Education in Muscat Governorate expressed the school's profound gratitude for the visit of Her Highness, highlighting the motivation it has provided to the school and the education sector in the governorates of Oman, encouraging further efforts to achieve educational objectives.
The Headmaster of Jawharat Muscat Basic Education School noted the historical significance of Her Highness's visit, which coincided with the observance of Omani Women’s Day. He acknowledged Her Highness's interest in the educational sector of Oman, stating that this visit will serve as a catalyst for increased efforts to advance the educational process.
