Barka: The Business Center in the Wilayat of Barka, which is connected with the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development Department in the South Al Batinah Governorate, is a major addition to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
It contributes significantly to producing employment possibilities, encouraging innovation, and enabling young people to participate in economic development, in accordance with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to create a knowledge and innovation-driven economy.
According to the South Al Batinah Governorate's SME Development Department, eight small and medium-sized firms are now being trained at the Barka Business Centre.
The Centre offers entrepreneurs with shared workspace and a supportive atmosphere that allows them to convert their ideas into viable businesses. This program helps to stimulate regional economic development and create job possibilities.
