Iranian President Visits Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Muscat: President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran toured the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque on Wednesday as part of his ongoing official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

When the Iranian President and his accompanying delegation arrived, Habib Mohammed Al Riyami, Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science, greeted them.

During the visit, the Iranian President and his accompanying entourage were briefed on the mosque's history, as well as its Omani and Islamic architectural styles.

President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the mosque's facilities, including the library, lecture hall, and other amenities.

At the conclusion of his trip, the Iranian President signed the VIP visitors' book, praising the mosque's design and architectural workmanship, which exemplifies Islamic architectural arts and its contribution in promoting and supporting Islamic studies.

The Iranian President was accompanied by numerous officials from both nations during the trip.
