By the end of November 2024, Omani airports experienced a 3.1% increase in passenger traffic, totaling 13,277,414 travelers across 98,933 flights. This is an improvement from the 12,873,020 passengers and 97,802 flights recorded by the end of November 2023.
Preliminary figures from the National Center for Statistics and Information indicate that Muscat International Airport served 11,737,391 passengers, reflecting a 2.7% increase over 88,002 flights, which corresponds to a 1.4% growth. Of these, 79,675 international flights carried 10,647,982 passengers, while 8,327 domestic flights transported 1,089,409 passengers.
Salalah Airport reported 1,417,947 passengers, marking a 5.5% rise compared to November 2023, despite a 2% decrease in total flights, which amounted to 9,751. The airport facilitated 4,693 international flights with 612,994 passengers and 5,058 domestic flights carrying 804,953 passengers.
At Sohar Airport, 66,531 passengers were recorded across 610 flights, while Duqm Airport managed 55,545 passengers on 570 flights.
In terms of nationalities at Muscat International Airport, Indian nationals represented the largest group, with 153,557 passengers, including 76,852 arrivals and 76,705 departures. Omanis followed with 115,871 passengers, comprising 57,058 arrivals and 58,813 departures. Pakistani nationals ranked third, totaling 49,438 passengers, with 24,115 arrivals and 25,323 departures.
