His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), engaged in official talks at Qasr Al Watan (Palace of the Nation) in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
At the beginning of the session, His Majesty the Sultan delivered a speech stating:
"Dear brother, Your Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, esteemed guests: We are pleased to be here in Abu Dhabi. We extend our gratitude to Your Highness, the UAE government, and the people of the UAE for the warm reception and hospitality.
We are highly satisfied with the positive, strategic partnership that has led to a new era of cooperation since Your Highness's visit to Oman, and the subsequent joint investment projects and close collaboration between our two countries in various sectors. Our government officials have been instructed to continue this productive collaboration with their Emirati counterparts, focusing on key areas of cooperation.
We appreciate the commitment of officials from both countries to realizing our shared vision through the initiation of joint investment projects in strategic sectors such as renewable energy, the launch of the railway project connecting Oman to the UAE railway network, the electrical interconnection project, and other initiatives.
I would like to express our full support for the strong partnership between Oman and the UAE. We anticipate a future of enhanced cooperation and progress in political, security, social, cultural, and scientific domains. We are confident that this partnership will boost the economies of both nations and fulfill the aspirations of our peoples."

The meeting highlighted the longstanding and brotherly relations between Oman and the UAE, emphasizing the historical bonds that unite the two countries.
In their discussions, the two leaders explored areas of current cooperation and ways to enhance them across various fields to benefit their people and fulfill their aspirations.
Following the talks, His Majesty the Sultan signed the Senior Visitors Book at Qasr Al Watan (Palace of the Nation).
The Omani delegation included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, and Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi.
On the other hand, the UAE delegation was represented by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Soror bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
