Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is scheduled to embark on a state visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan this Wednesday. The Diwan of Royal Court has released a statement confirming this visit, emphasizing the strong fraternal ties and historical relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan. The visit, which is in response to an invitation from King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, highlights the commitment of both leaders to enhance bilateral relations and achieve the common goals of their respective countries.
During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan and the Jordanian Monarch will discuss areas of cooperation and explore ways to further strengthen them across various sectors. They will also engage in discussions on regional and international issues, as well as matters of importance to Arab joint action.
Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan on this significant visit will be a distinguished delegation comprising high-ranking officials, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, and Sheikh Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al Ojaili, Ambassador of Oman to Jordan.
