Muscat: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria has sent a written message to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, focusing on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
The message was delivered to His Majesty the Sultan during a meeting at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday with Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
During the meeting, the Minister conveyed President Tebboune's greetings and well wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the people of Oman.
In response, His Majesty requested the Minister to convey his greetings and best wishes to President Tebboune and the Algerian people.
The meeting highlighted the strong and cordial relations between Oman and Algeria.
Present at the meeting were Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, the Head of the Private Office, Hussein bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, an Advisor at the Private Office, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Bugazi, the Ambassador of Algeria to Oman.
