Muscat: Today, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik was contacted by President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic.
During their conversation, President Macron conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the diligent efforts undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman in facilitating an understanding between France and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This understanding led to the release of a French citizen and his safe return to his homeland.
President Macron also expressed his admiration for Oman's significant contributions in the regional context.
Both leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion regarding the bilateral relations between Oman and France. Additionally, they addressed various regional matters that are of mutual concern.
