Vilnius: On Tuesday, President Gitanas Nauseda of the Republic of Lithuania welcomed Badr bin Mohammed Al Mantheri, the Sultanate's ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The purpose of the meeting was for the ambassador to present his credentials as the Sultanate's extraordinary, plenipotentiary, and non-resident ambassador to Lithuania.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed warm greetings and well wishes from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the president and the people of Lithuania. These wishes were for their continued health, happiness, progress, and prosperity.
The ambassador expressed the Sultanate's government's strong desire to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries. They emphasized the importance of cooperation in various areas, particularly in commerce, investment, technology, green energy, and logistics. The aim is to achieve the highest level of collaboration for the mutual benefit of both nations.
In response, the president requested the ambassador to convey his own greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty the Sultan. Additionally, the president emphasized the need to elevate the level of commercial, investment, and logistics cooperation between Lithuania and the Sultanate.
