HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, has arrived in Manama today to lead the delegation from the Sultanate of Oman at the 33rd regular Arab Summit. The summit is scheduled to commence later today in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Upon his arrival at Bahrain International Airport, HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were warmly received by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of the King of Bahrain, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, the Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League, Abdullah bin Nassir Al Rahbi, the Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Sayyid Faisal bin Harib Al Busaidi, the Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman, along with several Bahraini officials and members of the Omani Embassy in Manama.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation consisting of several senior officials.
