New York: Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Yemen, has expressed his appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman for its significant efforts that resulted in the release of the crew from the Galaxy Leader ship. Grundberg acknowledged Oman’s unwavering support in this matter.
“The release of the Galaxy Leader crew is encouraging news and represents a positive development,” Grundberg stated, urging the Ansar Allah group to continue such constructive actions regarding all unresolved issues.
He emphasized that “these actions are essential to create opportunities for mediation, which will ultimately aid in the long-awaited resumption of the Yemeni political process that millions of Yemenis are hoping for.”
