Muscat: The Defence Industries Committee of the GCC convened for its third meeting in Muscat. Delegations of defence industry experts from the armed forces of member states were present.
The meeting was led by Brigadier Khalid Sulaiman Al Shubaibi, who is the Director General of Research and Military Industries at the Ministry of Defense. Also present was Air Vice Marshal Issa Rashid Al Mohannadi, the Assistant GCC Secretary General for Military Affairs.
During the meeting, attendees engaged in discussions on various agenda items focused on formulating integrated strategies and initiatives to enhance coordination among the armed forces of the member states in the defense industries sector.
