Muscat: The Foreign Minister, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, engaged in two separate phone conversations with his Egyptian counterpart, His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit. The purpose of these discussions was to address various developments and matters of concern.
One of the primary issues discussed was the distressing and dire humanitarian situation faced by the Palestinian residents in the Gaza Strip. The focus was on finding effective measures to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Strip, as well as exploring avenues for legal and judicial accountability for Israel. Additionally, urgent provisions of food, medical aid, and assistance to the vulnerable Palestinian citizens were also deliberated upon.
