Muscat: The Ministry of Information of the Sultanate of Oman is dedicated to elevating Dhofar Governorate to a global stage. In pursuit of this goal, a delegation of international media experts was recently welcomed in the region to immerse themselves in its diverse offerings.
Sheikha bint Ahmed Al Mahrouqi, the Acting Director General of External Media, articulated the objectives of the initiative: "The objective of hosting international media professionals during the Dhofar Khareef season 2024 is to augment the Sultanate of Oman's visibility in the global cultural and tourism landscape, and to promote it through media collaborations with esteemed international media entities. This includes the participation of renowned international media organizations such as Reuters News Agency, the Foreign Journalists Association, National Geographic Magazine, Chinese Television, Turkish Television, and media outlets in Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Australia."
