Muscat: On Tuesday, Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed Maj. Gen Hassan Abdullah Almalki, Commander of the Saudi Arabian War College, along with his delegation, at his office in Bait Al Falaj Garrison.
During their meeting, the two leaders engaged in friendly discussions, addressing various topics of mutual interest, particularly those pertaining to academic matters.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies.
As part of their visit to the Sultanate of Oman, the delegation also toured the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) within the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies.
Upon their arrival at the college, they were received by Brigadier Saif Hamad Al Yousifi, Commandant of the CSC.
The delegation was provided with an overview of the CSC, including its curricula and training programs, and they explored the college’s facilities and departments.
Additionally, the Commander of the Saudi Arabian War College and his delegation visited the National Defence College (NDC).
Upon their arrival at the NDC, they were welcomed by Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, Acting Commandant of the NDC.
The visiting delegation received a briefing on the college's facilities and its strategic curriculum, which is designed to develop national competencies capable of making strategic decisions at various levels. They also toured the NDC's departments and various halls.
