Oman, Bulgaria Discuss Ways To Enhance Bilateral Relations

Sofia: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Bulgaria held official discussions today in Sofia to reinforce bilateral ties.

The Omani delegation was led by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, while the Bulgarian group was headed by Rosen Dimitrov Zhelyazkov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The meeting addressed all elements of friendship and cooperation between the two nations and sought new vistas for developing economic, cultural, and scientific collaborations, with the primary goal of exchanging joint benefits and achieving common interests.

During the discussions, the two parties additionally exchanged perspectives on regional and international concerns of mutual interest. They expressed a desire to enhance diplomatic coordination, hold regular consultations, and exchange visits to accomplish their shared goals and values of consolidating peace and security, achieving international justice, peaceful coexistence, and prosperity among nations.

The session was attended by Yousef Ahmed Al Jabri, the Sultanate of Oman's Nonresident Ambassador to Bulgaria, Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mandheri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry, and other officials from both countries.
