Muscat: The Bait AlGhasham DarArab Translation Prize has officially opened submissions for its second round in 2024/2025.
This esteemed cultural initiative aims to honor and promote outstanding Arabic literature, with a particular focus on two distinguished categories: the Translators' Prize and the Authors' Prize.
The deadline for submissions is set for July 31, 2024. Authors and translators are encouraged to submit their unpublished literary works and translations through dedicated online forms for each respective category. To ensure an unbiased evaluation, the judges for this round will be carefully selected.
The Bait AlGhasham DarArab Prize, generously funded by Bait AlGhasham and managed by DarArab, serves as an annual celebration of Arabic literature and its translation into English.
