Al Assalah Towers Art Contest Celebrates Creativity

The Third Al Assalah Towers Art Competition, which took place on March 29, saw the involvement of 84 talented children between the ages of 4 and 16 from the Al Assalah Towers community in Al Ghubra, Muscat. The competition, held during the holy month of Ramadhan, aimed to promote creativity and strengthen community bonds.

Sponsored by Prestige Properties, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, The Movers, Shah Nagardas, Kaldi 850 Coffee, Al Mnarh, 968 The Food Studio, Kesar Restaurant, and Begum’s Restaurant, the event provided a platform for young artists to display their skills.

Judged by Tarini Aggarwal, a renowned award-winning artist known for her exceptional creativity, and Dr. C Jawahar, a respected fine art professional and faculty member at the Scientific College of Design, the competition ensured a fair and inspiring evaluation process. Their expertise and guidance offered valuable insights to the young participants.

"The enthusiastic response to this competition showcases the lively spirit of our community and the deep-rooted love for art and creativity," said Pragya Bhatnagar, a resident artist of Al Assalah Towers and the organizer of the art event.

Attendees highlighted the significance of such initiatives in nurturing budding talent, emphasizing that art is not merely about aesthetics but also about expression and imagination. The competition aimed to inspire young artists to freely explore their creativity.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony attended by over 200 residents of Al Assalah Towers. Participants were recognized for their artistic efforts, and winners received trophies, certificates of merit, and attractive prizes.
