The "Nusuk" exhibition for pilgrims, now in its tenth edition, was officially launched on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in Muscat. The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, through the Department of Women’s Education and Guidance, commenced the activities at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This year, over 14 thousand pilgrims are expected to participate in the exhibition, which will run for five days.
The exhibition, held twice daily in the morning and evening, aims to educate pilgrims on the rituals of Hajj, familiarize them with the tasks of the Omani Hajj delegation, provide information on services offered in the Holy Lands, and offer guidance on safety and disease prevention measures.
Comprising six main pillars, including pre-rite, Ihram, Hajj rituals, fatwa, health and society, the Hajj mission, and non-Arabic speakers, the exhibition features various interactive sessions and courses. Additionally, there are activities designed to provide pilgrims with insights into the religious and psychological aspects of the pilgrimage.
The opening ceremony of the "Nusuk" exhibition was graciously sponsored by Fatima bint Muhammad Baqir Al-Ajami, CEO of the Omani Medical Specialty Board, and attended by specialists from the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The Ministry aims to expand the reach of the "Nusuk" exhibition across all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman to enhance public knowledge of Hajj and its associated rituals.
