Muscat: In response to the escalating water levels, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has issued a cautionary notice advising against the organization of any trips or visits to Wadi Al Shab in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has communicated in a formal statement: "We wish to inform individuals and institutions to refrain from organizing any trips or visits to Wadi Al Shab in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate until the 31st of October, 2024."
"This precautionary measure is necessitated by the elevated water levels and the damage inflicted on various sections of the valley as a result of the prevailing tropical conditions in 'Al Sayyal'," the Ministry further elaborated.
