Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced its approval for Iraqi Airways to commence scheduled flights to Muscat International Airport, starting from the 6th of 2025.
This decision demonstrates the CAA’s commitment to enhancing air connectivity between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Iraq.
Additionally, it aims to increase passenger traffic while promoting economic and tourism collaboration between the two friendly nations.
The CAA emphasized that the introduction of this air route showcases its regulatory role in facilitating air transport and improving its services, thus reinforcing the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a regional hub for air transport and logistics.
