The Ministry of Labour (Mol) has addressed the concerns raised on social media regarding the termination of services for citizens employed by Bahwan Contracting Company. In response, the Ministry has conducted a series of meetings over the past two days, led by the Acting Undersecretary for Labour and attended by representatives from various organizations including the General Directorate of Labour Welfare, the General Federation of Oman Workers, the company itself, and the affected citizens.
As a result of these meetings, a consensual solution has been reached, ensuring that all individuals whose services were terminated will be able to return to work in the near future. The Ministry remains fully committed to monitoring and improving the stability of all citizens employed in the private sector.
