Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has refuted claims made by certain local and international media organizations and websites that the United Arab Emirates is providing lifetime Golden Visas to specific nationalities.
ICP has clarified that the categories, conditions, and regulations for the Golden Visa are precisely described in accordance with official laws, legislation, and ministerial decisions. Interested individuals can access official information through the Authority's website or mobile application.
It emphasised that all Golden Visa applications are processed solely through official government channels in the UAE, and that no internal or external consulting firm is acknowledged as an authorised party in the application procedure.
The Authority had recently reviewed news reports from a consultancy firm located in another country, which claimed that lifetime Golden Visas for all categories could be obtained from outside the UAE through consulting or commercial organizations under simplified conditions. These allegations have no legal foundation and were made without consultation with the pertinent authorities in the UAE.
It reiterated its promise to offering a safe and transparent environment for applicants, as well as to continuously improving its services exclusively via official digital platforms.
It also stated that legal action would be pursued against organizations spreading such false information in order to illegally collect money from people wishing to live and reside in the UAE, taking advantage of their hopes for a dignified and secure life.
It urged all people looking to visit, live, or invest in the UAE not to react to misleading rumors and false news designed for quick gain. They should avoid paying any fees or providing personal information to anyone who claims to offer these services.
The Authority emphasized that everyone should always check official sources to verify the accuracy of procedures—either through the Authority's official website or by contacting the call center at 600522222, which is available 24/7—before taking any action.
