SQU, Peking University Discuss Ways To Boost Academic Cooperation

Muscat: On Tuesday, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Peking University engaged in discussions regarding potential collaboration and the exchange of expertise in the academic and health sectors, as well as research and education.

The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize both parties with the healthcare services and medical facilities offered by each university, while also exploring avenues for future cooperation.

In attendance were Her Highness Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation, and Dr. Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of Beijing University and Chairperson of Beijing Centre for Health Sciences. Also present were a delegation from Beijing University, several academics, and officials from Sultan Qaboos University and healthcare institutions in the Sultanate of Oman.

Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation, emphasized the university's commitment to enhancing international partnerships.

This meeting signifies a collaborative effort to advance knowledge, research, and education, she added.
