The 9th ordinary meeting of the first annual session of the Majlis Ash’shura Office was convened under the leadership of Tahir bin Mabkhout al Junaibi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Ash’shura, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, a request for discussion submitted by council members to the Minister of Education regarding the impact of extreme weather conditions on schools in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate was reviewed.
Furthermore, the annual report for 2023 on the projects of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology was examined by the Office and subsequently referred to the relevant committee.
Various issues were discussed during the meeting, including the response to addressing traffic congestion in the Wilayat of Al Seeb. It was mentioned that the implementation of traffic consultation services for Muscat Governorate, with the aim of providing sustainable solutions to traffic congestion, is currently being studied.
