Muscat: The Shura Council's Office convened for its inaugural meeting of the second annual gathering for the 10th term, during which it reviewed several reports from permanent committees. These included the Youth and Human Resources Committee's report and the Public Services and Utilities Committee's report.
Additionally, the meeting examined the Health and Social Committee's assessment of the annual reports submitted by the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Health for 2023. It also considered the letter from the Head of the Public Services and Utilities Committee concerning the visual presentation of the draft National Social Housing Plan.
Furthermore, the meeting delved into ministerial responses to inquiries posed by members of the office.
The proceedings were presided over by Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali, the Chairman of the Shura Council, with attendees including members of the office and Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Al Nadabi, the Secretary General of the Council.
