Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, will preside over the launch ceremony for the National School Performance Evaluation System on Monday.
This event, organized by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, is set to take place at the Kempinski Hotel in Muscat.
The introduction of this system aligns with the authority's duties as outlined in Royal Decree No. 9/2021, which calls for the creation of a national framework to uphold the quality of school education in Oman.
This initiative is designed to ensure that educational standards meet international benchmarks and to motivate educational institutions to enhance their internal quality assurance processes, thereby supporting the goals of Oman Vision 2040, where education is prioritized.
